The least glamorous of our programs and one of the most consequential. Building new classrooms in growing communities. Renovating old ones. Putting up reinforced bomb shelters in the South. None of it sexy. All of it indispensable.
We've never gotten a major foundation grant for a roof repair. Nobody names a bus depot after their grandfather. Construction is the work that doesn't get press releases — and is exactly the work that determines whether a school can keep operating.
In 2026 alone, we have three active builds: a new 3-classroom wing in Karmiel, a full reinforced shelter renovation in Sderot, and a kitchen expansion in Beit Shemesh.
Karmiel — 3-classroom wing. Sderot — bomb shelter. Beit Shemesh — kitchen expansion.
Funded by a mix of major gifts, foundation grants, and named-room sponsorships.
Currently below required standards. The renovation will bring 100% of the school under reinforced protection.
Naming opportunities range from a single classroom ($10K) to a full kitchen ($50K) to a wing or building ($250K+). Plaques are placed at the entrance, and the room is dedicated in your honor or in memory of a loved one.
